SNEAPA’s popular Mentor Match Program is returning for 2016! Mentors and mentees will be matched based on specific planning interests and areas of expertise and will have a chance to connect informally during this year’s SNEAPA Conference. Pairs will be introduced via email prior to the conference. We’ll provide Mentor and Mentee guides that will include prompts and questions to help get the conversation started. This minimum commitment (at least 30 minutes sometime during the conference) will help new planners learn from experienced planners and potentially make lasting professional connections.
Please volunteer to serve as a mentor!
We are seeking mentors from all three states, from the public and private sectors, and from every sector of planning! Mentors should have at least seven (7) years of professional planning experience. To register as a mentor, please compete this form.
Please register here. This program is for new and emerging professionals (<7 years of experience), students are invited to attend the Student Mentoring Lunch on October 20, 2016 (Student Mentoring Lunch).
Please submit all mentor and mentee applications by September 30, 2016.
